10 Top Christmas Gifts

A family tale hosted by Oliva Newton-John and Chip Davis, over music by Mannheim Steamroller, The Christmas Angel tells the story of a decorative angel that ‘is stolen from the top of a village Christmas tree by an evil villain the night before Christmas.The villagers and their children cannot celebrate Christmas until the angel is found and replaced atop the tree.

The story is a classic tale of good triumphing over evil told in an enchanting way with world champion ice skaters portraying the characters. It is set the night before Christmas Eve when all the presents are under the village tree. The children are excited as they go home to bed. When all is quiet and the clock strikes midnight, the toys come to life one more time before they become presents for the children. Snowmen, gingerbread men, toy soldiers and many more dance around the Village Square.

But an evil presence arrives bent on destroying everyone’s happiness and steals the angel from the tree. He knows that without the angel protecting the magic of the tree the children will have no gifts when they wake up. Dorothy, one of the mothers, follows the evil into the Netherworld to try to rescue the angel so that Christmas will not be spoiled and the children will get their gifts. The toys begin to cry and the angel is frightened by the mischievous Gargon but Dorothy leads them to battle with the evil and turns him to good.

They all re-enter the village through a tunnel of light and Christmas is saved.

Gift Ideas For Newborn Babies

The birth of a baby is a very exciting occasion. It may be a new baby in the family or a friends new baby. The only problem that arises from this occasion is what you should buy for them as a gift. Most people choose to buy baby clothes, bibs, and/or cuddly toys. You may think this is a little boring or too common for a newborn gift which makes you wonder what other options you have. The best gifts you can give are unique gifts or things that get a great deal of usage. One of the most ideal gifts to buy is newborn car seats. After all, babies will need this to get home from the hospital. Most hospitals wont be happy for the baby to leave the hospital until they have seen them secure in their baby car seat carrier in your car, newborn babies can be seriously injured if they are not in a correctly fitted car seat.

Here are some unique gift ideas:

1) A personalised item which baby can keep for a long time such as a blanket or toys that captures the babys name or age or weight is a great gift idea.

2) Items that are different looking than normal for example a night light or mirror etc that is unusual looking or have a unique design would make a great gift.

3) Cradles or cribs that are designed out of the ordinary would be a good idea for a gift, as those will be used regularly and will be remembered for being different than the usual cradle or crib.

4) A baby gift pack. For example, gift pack of baby changing products. You are guaranteed with a gift like this that it will be used.

Other gift ideas that are more original are items such as changing mats and baby play mats. Another gift which would be a great idea and an essential item for baby is a buggy. This is a more expensive option but would make an excellent gift idea if you can afford to spend this much. As I said at the start of this article, travel child seats for cars are a great gift idea and an essential product for a baby. If someone has already bought this for the child, you could maybe buy a couple of baby carseat covers. A cover that could help to protect the car seat from dirt or any mess the child may make. A cover with a design that will match the rest of the parents car interior is a great idea.
