sup guys. my sister just graduated highschool this may, and i still havent found the right gift to give her. since this is sort of an important occasion, i wanted to actually get her something good. ive always been the little sister who spent all her money on candy and dumb shit so never bought her very good birthday or christmas presents. i have a 200 dollar budget soo.. you know.

here are some characteristics that might be helpful.
she loves orange. she has so many orange clothes that my mom has to do 2 loads of laundry that are all just orange.
she has a new ipod
she got a mac from my parents for their graduation present
she got a watch from our grandmother
she got money from our other grandparents
she cares about labels (for the most part) but seems to be the only person who can pick out clothes for herself.
she almost only wears mens pants (shorts, jeans, you know.)
she wont wear jewelry or perfume
she just shaved her head [thankfully after senior pictures ]
so, idk guys. help me out!!
well guys all that stuff is good, like i like that kind of thing but she wants something shell be able to use. like a mini fridge or new clothes or something.

as for this polish gal i am so really excited over all the bargains i have been finding around town here.I live some where in a town called Mattawan ,Michigan…like today i could not help but stock up on some holiday scented candles at family dollar stores at .50 cents each but priced at two for a dollar!! wow…also they have a six pack of tooth brushes for $1..00 wow makes great stocking stuffers…then shell stations have mens leather wallets in at $8.99….citgo stations have a few three packs of mens socks priced at $2.00 and there going fast…..and in a few days i am also ordering some bargains thru the mail too…..i love holiday shopping and am very frugal ..so when i saw the holiday scented candles family dollar stores just put out on the shelves i snatched plenty at two for a buck wowie….why you ask…for all the extra guests i may have stop by,, here is what i do with the scented candles,,, i get some packs of holiday motiff paper sacks and slip a candle in each bag,,, tape a candy cane and bow on the outter bag with a bow and name tag and whala instead extra holiday presents in a hurry if need be ..whew,,,,as in starting in Novemeber i love to have holiday gifts on stand by for any one whom knocks on my door from the parcel post people or fed ex people or mail man or woman…all i can say is i hope i get many people knocking on my door this holiday season…just love giving ….and seeing smiles ….happy holidays everyone ..

That’s such a good idea! If you don’t mind I might do the same, ha ha! Anyway, being a preteen, I don’t go much shopping except bargain hunting. If I find good deals like that, I go straight for them! If not, I avoid it and try to make something similar. I personally get really excited during Christmas season because I make a lot of gifts, like 10 for each family member, and they are actually pretty good quality. So yes, I am very excited for Christmas time, in fact it’s about this time of year where I start booking craft ideas on my computer so that it’s not too hectic when I’m looking for last minute gifts! I really need to fix this! I can’t go on for 3 more years with this women hating my guts! Is it possible to get someone who hats you to begin liking you?
I’m in middle school and I’ll be going to 7th grade next year. I have 3 more years of middle school, until I’ll be in high school, and I don’t want to be on her made side.
My principal HATES me! The following is reasons why I bet she doesn’t like me:
1. My elementary principal hated me, so she might have told her about me.
2. There was a big misunderstanding with a few girls, whom she adored. One accused me of throwing her in the mens restroom, which I DID NOT. Another, told her that I threw her down on the gym floor, and dragged her across it while she screamed! I never did any of this! The gym has many people it in and someone would have saw. We were, actually, playing a GAME, where she wanted to see if I could pull her. She sat on the ground, and I carefully pulled her a few feet over by the wall. She had her best friend be a witness. I told her what really happened, but I bet it just seemed as if I was lying or underestimating.
3. There was a girl who was also another one of the principals favorite students. She used to be my best friend, but I was sick of her mistreating me and spreading lies and rumors about me. I went and told the principal about what she had done, along with my other best friend (who used to be the same girls friend but had the same problems with her). I had a notepad with everything she said and did down, so I could remember. I just realized that she might have thought I wrote down a bunch of lies, and that I wrote them down like a script. She laughed at me(first time I saw her laugh EVER). She also said that I must be kidding and she didn’t believe me.
4. One girl tore down ALL of my student-president posters and threw them away. Half of the whole grade saw. I also saw her holding one surrounding by a bunch of kids. She ran off when she saw me. The prensipal would not believe me. Even though she was another girls campaign manager. She said there was no way, and that the janitors probably didn’t know and threw them away. The girl was not one of her favorite students, though…. I won the election, anyway, lol!

Please tell me if there is any way I can get her to like me! She won’t believe anything I say! I’m bullied all the time and she won’t do anything about it!
I’m a straight A student and she loves my sister! And we go to the same nail salon! I want a fresh start with her! I’ve tried everything! I give her birthday, and Christmas cards and gifts. I smile and greet her when I see her, even at the salon.

First, you should start by informing your parents on how this principal treats you. The principal is the professional and the adult in this situation and therefore should be handled by an adult. If things don’t get better after a parent/principal meeting then I suggest you inform your school district office about the alleged incidents and the principals lack of discipline and response to the incidents. The principal should be ashamed of herself!!! You or your parent(s) should definitely report the bullying because every child has the right to go to school and have an enjoyable and peaceful day. In my opinion the principal is a bully too!! She has a responsibility to every student in that school to make their learning environment as stress free as possible. But I say start with your parent(s) and move forward because you don’t deserve that kind of treatment….and so what if your previous principal told her about you, SHE should take the time to get to know who you. Sounds like the principal has some issues going on within herself!! I’ll be praying for you and please keep us posted on the progress and outcome of this situation.

I think you shouldn’t have gotten him a Christmas gift if you two just started to date… but that’s neither here nor there now.

Since you went so out of your way and got such an expensive Christmas gift, gonna be hard to do too much less for the birthday. I have a few ideas… see which one you like.

Take him out to dinner with you paying
Buy him a new billfold (if you know the type he likes and his isn’t new)
Buy him a shirt you think would look sexy on him (tell him it looks sexy on him)

The thing is… i don’t know him… so this is much harder than if i did know him. Is he into sports? A sports shirt with his favorite player on it. Tickets to a game that is in town. Is he into video games, a new video game that he’d like. My husband loves fun little musical instruments, so i buy him those. Like a jaw harp and a few different kinds of spoon sets.

It has to go along with the person, and people can give you ideas, but in the end… you are the one who is supposed to know him well enough to know what he likes.

If he is into hats, one with something on it that he loves. Or do you know of anything he needs, like a new mouse for his computer.. or a cd he likes?

They look like nice gifts, and you know your boyfriend better than the rest of us. If it is something that he would wear, then you did a great job.

the only reason why Ruehl is closing is because of the marketing styles.yes i belive ruehl is the greatest store on earth, but it seems to me that they are spending more money on concepts and visuals. it think Mike Jeffries is cool, though i havent met him. i agree with him on one thing: concepts and atmosphere and displaying cool things . its all about the concept and the advertisement and presenting things in the best way possible. ruehl was a stunning example of how to live in a upscale new york apartment, everything was great. presentation is everything. great store. great cologne. but what hit them the most in the negative way was simply archetechually. there were too many rooms and mirrors and it was aa bit dark…it felt like a maze. if i was one of his executives, i would have made suggestions as to change the layout of the store. i would have kept the stairs, kept the wonderful scent that i hope will one day be featured at hollister, i would have kept the color sceme , kept the style and the atmosphere, but would Change the laylout of the store so it would be a less of a maze.

i want to get rid of the smaller rooms and have 3 main hallways, one for mens, main hallway, and the womens. the entrence should have a chandalere and a stair case , like it is currently . all should be changed is the smaller rooms. it should have been opened up.
i know this is a rough copy of my actual critcs but you kinda get the jist of what i’m trying to say.

hope they will one day read this and take into consideration of presentation. i’m a very good critic, i focus on anything that is wrong and fix it, or at least try. i could save many peoples jobs by just simply telling them whats wrong and how to fix it. i really like Ruehl because of the presentaion and over all concept of upscale buying and living. i hope one day Ruehl No. 925 will open once again.

ps: if incase Mike Jeffries does see this comment, i hope he will take into consideration that i belive he is a great artistic person who knows concepts and is skilled in advertisents and has good tastes in design. i just want to with you best of luck in finally ending ruehl, and hope that one day you can open up a new concept clothing line that will be better then ever.

ruehl closed down the thousand oaks location on the twenty 4th of christmas. what i would have done was i would have closed it a few days after christmas, to take advantage of all the sales and stuff like that. i’d get more money that way.
