I bought this as a gift for my 8 yr. old nephew and he absolutly loves it. I had seen a Mongoose bike for sale at Wal Mart for around $60.00, but you could instantly see the quality difference between this one and the cheaper bike. The price, $119.00 with free shipping was an excellant deal.

• Very Well-constructed

CONS:

• Not made for serious BMXing such as huge dirt jumps
• A little on the heavy side.

SUMMARY:

Overall, the Mongoose Spin BMX is very well-built and wills satisfy the needs of your child for a long time to come.

It’s great for street riding as well as casual off-road BMXing with its many quality, safety features.  I would buy it.

I have 3 girls ages 10,8 and 7

they are getting older so I don’t feel the need to get them lots of little gifts but just a few big ones instead. here are my ideas:

the "together" gift that is given to all 3 of them (we do this every year) will be a 14 foot trampoline to play on in the backyard.

all 3 will receive a full outfit (dress or pants/top and matching shoes), a new pair of pajamas, and socks/underwear-this is a yearly tradition.

does this sound ok? my fiance and I both have good paying jobs that we’ve been in for a long time. we don’t overly spoil the kids and they only get stuff on holidays or for exceptionally good behavior at home or school…
I should add that my 10 year old uses my netbook constantly-thats why I want to get her one of her own lol!! we block any websites we don’t want her using and chat is always disabled..

A family tale hosted by Oliva Newton-John and Chip Davis, over music by Mannheim Steamroller, The Christmas Angel tells the story of a decorative angel that ‘is stolen from the top of a village Christmas tree by an evil villain the night before Christmas.The villagers and their children cannot celebrate Christmas until the angel is found and replaced atop the tree.

The story is a classic tale of good triumphing over evil told in an enchanting way with world champion ice skaters portraying the characters. It is set the night before Christmas Eve when all the presents are under the village tree. The children are excited as they go home to bed. When all is quiet and the clock strikes midnight, the toys come to life one more time before they become presents for the children. Snowmen, gingerbread men, toy soldiers and many more dance around the Village Square.

But an evil presence arrives bent on destroying everyone’s happiness and steals the angel from the tree. He knows that without the angel protecting the magic of the tree the children will have no gifts when they wake up. Dorothy, one of the mothers, follows the evil into the Netherworld to try to rescue the angel so that Christmas will not be spoiled and the children will get their gifts. The toys begin to cry and the angel is frightened by the mischievous Gargon but Dorothy leads them to battle with the evil and turns him to good.

They all re-enter the village through a tunnel of light and Christmas is saved.
