I was hoping to make a few Christmas gifts this year and was thinking of doing something with plantable paper. However, most places you look it’s all wedding related. Anyone have or seen any ideas that are for Christmas?
just get some blank or patterned sheets and make origami stuff with it. maybe a couple boxes or cranes
She’s a junior next year and moving into an on campus house, what are some relatively inexpensive gift ideas?

Dollar Tree (Hannah Montana night light, Hannah Montana socks, snow man pot holder, snow man oven glove, snow man towel, coffee mug, stocking- everything was only $1 each!)
Family Dollar (silver ring with a Christmas ornament case- $2.50)
Dollar General (‘Follow Your Heart’ silver necklace- $3)
Other Ideas:
Clearance!- Check the clearance parts of your favorite stores, it’s a cheap way to find some great gifts.
Walmart- check out the gift set aisle! (that’s also where my sister found the eye makeup set i’m wearing in this- it was $3)
Coupons!- use any store discount coupons you have, and put the credit towards a gift.
Make something!- Sometimes you can make a really cute and unique gift yourself. My sister is making jewelry for a lot of her gifts.
Remember just be creative, put your own touch on things, and above all, HAVE A FUN HOLIDAY!

Looking for some unique, just cool gift ideas for christmas. He is outdoorsy, but enjoys exploring and learning more than an activity (so not much hunting, fishing, etc. but a little). He is a nature photographer, but also works w/ computers and can appreciate cool gadgets. He has a great sense of humor, and loves new things. But soo hard to find anything unique this holiday season. ideas? under $100 dollars please
I agree about the vacation. Even if you don’t have a lot of money to spend on him, you can buy Marriott gift cards at a variety of locations. (Grocery stores that sell gift cards should have them). For $200, he can easily afford a weekend away.
I also agree that spending some time with him would be great. He gets quality time with his daughter, and he isn’t likely to say "no" to that! Buy some movie ticket gift cards or tickets to a show or sporting event. You could also arrange for a nice lunch.
Since you say he doesn’t golf enough to buy him any golf equipment, why not pay for a round of golf?
You can always buy him some scratch off tickets aside from the "real" gift.
And don’t feel bad for buying your father tools for work. He sounds like he is dedicated to his job, and having fresh tools to work with makes his job easier more enjoyable. And while he’s working, it’s always in his mind that the tools came from you.
